Responsibilities
- Maintain data integrity and serve as the Workday subject‑matter expert for the team.
- Manage employee data, support HR Business Partners (HRBPs) on headcount, employment offers, compensation/job evaluation, benefits communication (including pension), termination process, performance management, and diversity initiatives.
- Partner with Global Talent Acquisition and recruiters on the entire hiring cycle, including job description development, interviewing, talent selection and offer.
- Partner with HRBPs to ensure a robust onboarding experience for new hires, including communication, plan development, and coordination with hiring managers.
- Provide basic HR guidance to employees on a wide range of topics in partnership with HRBPs.
- Work closely with the HRBP team to support employee data, reporting, workforce planning, performance management, and other HR‐related matters.
- Research and analyze HR data to support decision‑making.
- Develop and maintain relationships across Brown‑Forman to coordinate and accomplish responsibilities in a timely manner.
- Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement and implement changes within the scope of the role.
- Collaborate with HR to create files for loading organizational changes into Workday, coordinate with HRIT for the actual load, and audit changes to ensure data integrity.
- Support HRBPs on special projects and administrative needs.
- Support Amsterdam office operations, including seamless office logistics, local HR and office communications, and employee engagement initiatives (e.g., local events, town halls, lunches).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR function with a strong understanding of HR Information Systems (ideally Workday) and basic employment law.
- Advanced written and spoken English proficiency.
- Fluency in Dutch.
- Strong knowledge of local labor laws, social security regulations, HR practices, and cultural considerations within the region.
- Proficiency in standard office software (word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and shared file management).
- Ability to plan, organize, work independently, and complete assignments promptly with minimal oversight.
- Detail‑oriented, process‑oriented, customer‑focused, and problem‑solving mindset; ability to work with a team and independently.
- Excellent organizational skills in planning and prioritizing work to execute multiple projects.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- PHR or SPHR certification.
- Workday system experience.
