Change Lead - Transformation Programme

OverviewWe are seeking a Change Lead to support the successful delivery of a large-scale transformation programme. Working as part of an agile change team, you will play a key role in driving adoption through effective communications, engagement, and readiness activities
.
Partnering closely with the Change Manager, transformation leads, agile coaches, and business stakeholders, you will translate change strategy into practical, audience-focused plans that ensure the transformation is understood, embraced, and embedded across the organisation.
This role has a strong emphasis on communications and engagement
, shaping messaging, coordinating key moments, and supporting leadership alignment.
- Support translation of the overall change strategy into targeted communications and engagement plans
- Identify change impacts across leadership, management, and employee groups
- Contribute to stakeholder analysis and readiness planning
- Tailor the wider transformation approach to different business areas
- Design and deliver communication and engagement activities across all phases (readiness, launch, reinforcement)
- Support leadership briefings, manager cascades, training communications, and engagement events
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across the programme
- Monitor engagement, sentiment, and change risks, adjusting plans as needed Stakeholder & Leadership Support
- Prepare communication materials for senior leaders and management audiences
- Ensure leaders are equipped with clear messaging and understand their role in the change
- Build strong working relationships across stakeholders and partner teams
- Escalate complex issues appropriately via the Change Manager
- Create clear, engaging content simplifying complex transformation topics
- Tailor messaging for different audiences (leaders, managers, employees)
- Support development of a consistent transformation narrative
- Reinforce messaging through repeatable communication moments
- Identify early signs of resistance or communication gaps
- Propose practical solutions to improve engagement and adoption
- Bring structure and clarity to ambiguous or evolving situations
- Proven experience in change management, communications, and stakeholder engagement
- Strong ability to develop communication plans, engagement strategies, and leader-ready materials
- Experience working in agile or transformation environments
- Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and leadership teams
- Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments
