Freelance Senior Project Manager - Data Center

We're currently supporting one of our clients with an upcoming Data Center Construction Project who is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager for an infrastructure programme based in Amsterdam.

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale data center projects.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget and risk throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants, engineering teams and client stakeholders.
• Drive programme governance, reporting and executive-level communication.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, quality and industry standards.
• Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Manage change control, procurement activities and contract performance.
• Support commissioning, handover and project close-out activities.

• Proven experience delivering large-scale data center or mission-critical infrastructure projects.
• Strong background as a Senior Project Manager within construction, M&E or critical facilities.
• Experience managing multiple work streams and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies such as PMI, PRINCE2 or equivalent.
• Fluent English is essential;
  Dutch is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of commissioning and critical systems.
• Relevant project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, APM or equivalent).
