Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Dutch communications strategy aligned with Justdiggit’s global brand narrative.
• Lead storytelling across channels (campaigns, newsletters, social and events).
• Proactively secure media coverage, responsible for all our Dutch media partners (mainly OOH, TV, Cinema).
• Proficiency in building and maintaining relationships with media professionals.
• Work closely with our visual designers, digital and social team and our programs team to translate impact data and field stories into engaging content.
• Coordinate campaign rollouts both internally and also externally with agencies and partners.
• Guard brand tone, visuals, messaging, and consistency across all Dutch communications.
• Support internal communications and help strengthen Justdiggit’s role as a climate communication leader.
• Strategically participate and coordinate events by delivering all promotional materials and messaging to maximise visibility.
• Boost the success of fundraisers by optimising the donation journey and storytelling on Supporta.

What you bring

• At least 3 years of experience in communications, media, or related fields.
• Proven experience in developing communication strategies and managing campaigns.
• Strong storytelling and copywriting skills (Dutch native is a must, English fluent).
• Familiarity with social media platforms, content management systems and digital analytics is a plus.
• A network in Dutch media is a plus.
• Ability to translate complex topics (climate, nature, impact) into accessible and inspiring stories.
• A proactive, creative mindset with strong project management skills.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and goals.
• Affinity with environmental or social‑impact organisations is a plus.

Who we are looking for we are looking for an experienced and creative Communications Manager to lead our communication strategy in the Netherlands.

As our Communications Manager NL, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimising all communication initiatives for Justdiggit in The Netherlands. You will translate our mission into compelling stories and campaigns that mobilise people, partners, and supporters. Your work will make the re‑greening movement visible, engaging, and impossible to ignore.
