About the mission
As an
Account Executive Mid‑Market working for the Benelux market
, your main responsibilities include:
- Managing the entire sales cycle (for both Outbound & Inbound) of new Mid‑Market accounts (turnovers between €10M-€250M) from prospecting, leads qualification to negotiation and contract signature
- Engaging with C‑Level Executives, acting as a trusted advisor to navigate their challenges and demonstrate the value of Alma’s solutions.
- Representing Alma at trade shows and conferences in Benelux and Europe.
- Contributing to the optimisation of internal processes to support Alma's scalability.
- Maximising Alma’s take rate by ensuring activated merchants are fully optimised.
- Organising and tracking all sales activities via our CRM.
About you
You will be a good fit for the role if you have:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in similar roles (excluding internships & apprenticeships), with a proven track record in B2B software sales.
- Fluent in Dutch and English (mandatory).
- Excellent communication skills.
- In‑depth knowledge of navigating the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, with experience in negotiation and contract signing.
- Strong organisational and structured approach to understanding the complexities of retailers' needs, with a high level of accountability and a methodical approach to ensure consistent follow‑ups with prospects until closing.
- Strong sales orientation with an energetic approach.
- Excellent analytical mindset.
- Self‑driven, curious and proactive.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
- Well‑organised with a structured approach.
What would make you stand out from the crowd?
- Experience in the Payment / BNPL / E‑commerce industry.
- Proficiency in using tools such as Salesforce, Sales Loft, or Modjo for efficient lead management and outreach.
