As a Technical Sales Advisor in Algeria, you’ll combine technical expertise with commercial drive to grow the business, strengthen customer partnerships, and help shape the future of animal nutrition across poultry, dairy, and aquaculture. This is a home‑based role with national travel, offering significant autonomy and the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the Algerian market.
What you'll do;
In this role, you will own the development and support of the full portfolio of feed additives and services, working closely with distributors, integrators, mills, and farmers. You will be a trusted technical and commercial partner, translating customer needs into sustainable business growth.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing and supporting sales of Trouw Nutrition’s solutions across all animal species, with a strong focus on poultry and dairy
Growing the aquaculture segment through the Skretting product range
Providing high‑quality technical and commercial support to distributors and end customers
Organising and delivering seminars, trainings, and farm visits
Gaining deep insight into customer needs, competitor activity, and market trends
Supporting existing customers while identifying and developing new business opportunities
Contributing to annual budgets, sales plans, and forecasts
Managing orders end‑to‑end, including active credit control
Coordinating technical, marketing, administrative, and sales support activities
What You Bring
You take ownership, work independently, and thrive in a commercial environment where technical credibility matters.
You bring:
A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, DVM or related courses.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in animal health or animal nutrition preferably in a commercial role.
An existing network in the Algerian poultry market (strongly preferred)
Strong sales, technical, and communication skills
The ability to work autonomously and manage priorities independently
Fluency in English, French, and Arabic
Comfort working in dynamic international teams
