The European Union Emissions Trading System is the EU's primary tool for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and our Carbon Compliance team is right at the heart of it.
Aboutthe role
We're looking for a driven sales professional to join our Carbon Compliance desk. Your job is to build and grow our client base by proactively reaching out to companies that need to navigate the EU ETS and turning those conversations into long-term relationships. You'll work closely with our traders, combining their market expertise with your communication skills to create real value for clients across Europe.
Whatyou'll be doing
- Proactively acquiring new clients through outbound calling
- Building and maintaining relationships with (potential) clients in French-speaking or Scandinavian markets
- Supporting the traders at the Carbon Compliance desk with client outreach and follow-up
- Contributing directly to the growth of the EU ETS team
- Fluent in English and French, or a Scandinavian language (Swedish, Norwegian or Danish); this is a hard requirement
- MBO, HBO or Bachelor's degree
- Eager, energetic and proactive by nature
- Persistent and determined; you don't stop after the first "no"
- Independent, yet a strong team player
