Electronic Supply Chain Solutions - Converge

The Converge Sales Team is hiring an Account Manager with a proven background in non‑franchised electronic component distribution. This is a fully sales‑driven, target‑oriented role designed for professionals who understand the realities of the independent electronics market - including spot buying, allocation shortages, end‑of‑life components, and fast‑moving demand.

This position requires hands‑on experience within independent distribution.

You will be responsible for acquiring new business, reactivating underpenetrated or neglected accounts, and growing strategic customer relationships across the Benelux region. You will act as a trusted commercial partner to customers who rely on alternative sourcing strategies and market intelligence.

You will report to the Regional Sales Manager and become part of a high‑performance, international sales team operating in a fast‑paced environment.

What will you be doing at Converge?

Own and grow customer relationships within the electronics distribution market

Proactively identify demand and supply opportunities for obsolete electronic components

Rebuild and expand underdeveloped or inactive customer accounts

Actively source new business through targeted prospecting and market research

Develop pricing, quotations, and proposals aligned with independent market conditions

Manage the full order‑to‑invoice lifecycle, ensuring speed, accuracy, and customer satisfaction

Monitor market dynamics, pricing fluctuations, and availability in the global component market

Represent Converge at industry events and customer meetings to strengthen market presence

What are we looking for?

Mandatory requirements:

Proven experience in non‑franchised/independent electronic component distribution

Strong understanding of the value proposition of independent distributors, including alternative sourcing, flexibility, and market agility

Hands‑on knowledge of electronic component life cycles, shortages, and supply chain volatility

Demonstrated success in a target‑driven sales or business development role within this market

Experience working with senior‑level customer stakeholders, both commercially and strategically

Additional qualifications:

Ability to build and maintain long‑term, trust‑based customer relationships

Strong negotiation, prospecting, and presentation skills

Commercially driven, resilient, and comfortable operating in a fast‑changing environment

Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, solution‑oriented approach

Bachelor's degree and/or a strong track record of success in electronic component sales

Fluency in English is required;
Dutch is a strong advantage
