Who we are
YOUNG Media is a fast-growing media company with a portfolio of brands, podcasts and platforms that each own their own audience. From VG Visie — the leading platform for real estate professionals with a reach of 27,500+ — to The Post Online, Groot Geld, Met Grenzeloze Ambitie, Code tot Succes and a series of new formats we are now launching.
We are not building one big platform. We are building a collection of strong, credible brands that together form a commercially powerful network.

What you will doWe are looking for an account manager who gets energy from connecting, building and closing. Someone with a sharp instinct for which advertiser fits which brand or format, always keeping both the client’s objective and the target audience at the center. You enjoy picking up the phone, bringing in new business and growing existing clients. You spot opportunities before others do and turn insights into concrete deals.
In the first phase you will work closely with the CEO. You will learn the approach, the brands and the market — and then build your own portfolio.
Concretely, this is what you do:
- Actively bring in new business for all YOUNG Media brands and formats
- Sell sponsor ships, branded content, advertorials and partnerships
- Call, visit and email clients — whatever works, works. If you bring them in, that’s what counts
- Develop and present strong propositions that connect with the client’s goals
- Maintain professional and warm relationships with advertisers and media agencies
- Work in our CRM (Monday) and report weekly on pipeline and results
- Contribute to annual plans and growth strategies per client
You are commercially driven, but you don’t just sell anything. You understand brands, audiences and the value of context. You feel at home in an entrepreneurial environment where not everything is fixed yet and where your initiative makes the difference.
Ownership is not a buzzword for you — it’s how you work. You don’t wait, you pick things up.
You work hard and smart, and you know that combination is what makes the difference in the long run.
You also bring:
- First commercial experience, preferably in media, marketing or a comparable environment
- Affinity with media, podcasts, content and social is not a requirement — but if you already love it, you’ll feel right at home
- You are fluent in Dutch and based in the Netherlands
- You are present at our Amsterdam office at least two days per week — we have a great and lively office and believe in the power of working together
- Confidence, guts and the drive to step out of your comfort zone
