We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Global Solution Sales Manager to join our dynamic Corporate, Commercial, and Public Sector (CCPS) sales team in Amsterdam.
This is more than a sales role; it's an opportunity to act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to a portfolio of leading corporate clients headquartered in the Benelux region. You will be responsible for architecting and delivering sophisticated digital solutions across payments, liquidity, e‑commerce, and working capital. If you excel at originating complex deals and building lasting client relationships, this role offers a unique platform for impact and growth.
This role is a “Controlled Function” Role as defined by the Central Bank of Ireland Reform Act 2010 and Principal Regulations 2011, and amending Regulations 2014, 2015.
What You Will Do
As a Global Solution Sales Manager, you will be at the heart of our client relationships, driving growth and innovation. Your responsibilities will be focused on:
Strategic Sales & Client Growth
Lead sales origination, manage the pipeline, and drive revenue growth for your assigned portfolio of corporate clients.
Deepen client penetration by cross‑selling Citi’s extensive range of products and solutions across our 90+ country network.
Utilize data‑driven sales tools and insights to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities with both existing and new clients.
Client Advisory
Become a “Trusted Advisor” by developing a deep understanding of your clients' business models and organizational needs.
Lead differentiated, consultative dialogues with key client decision‑makers to co‑create complex cash and working capital solutions.
Collaborate with product, industry, and specialist sales partners to design and deliver best‑in‑class solutions.
Champion a superior client experience by working closely with banking, servicing, and client success teams.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Leadership
Build strong partnerships with internal banking teams to define client priorities and execute robust, coordinated account plans.
Enhance client engagement and represent Citi as a thought leader through marketing initiatives and industry events.
Embody and promote a culture of responsible finance, ethical conduct, and disciplined governance.
What we will need from you
Essential Qualifications & Experience
In-depth knowledge of Cash Management, Payments, and Working Capital Solutions.
A proven track record in originating and selling complex financial or technology‑based solutions to large, multinational corporations.
Significant experience managing large client relationships from a banking, sales, or product perspective.
Fluency in English with consistently clear, concise, and persuasive communication skills (both written and verbal).
A tenacious, articulate, and results‑oriented personality.
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
