What You Will Do
The Regional Account Manager (RAM) is characterized by a dedicated customer‑first perspective and a hunter approach. In this capacity, the RAM collaborates closely with our partners in Channel and Marketing, optimizing opportunities within the designated region. The RAM’s objective extends beyond mere sales – it encompasses establishing enduring customer relationships and delivering bespoke solutions to address the globe’s most pressing security challenges.
Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets. The RAM plays a central role in fostering sales pipelines and guiding business deals as a key member of our regional team that spans sales, marketing, and channels.
Actively identify, negotiate, and seal sales deals within the assigned region.
Strategically spearhead business development and pre‑sales initiatives, leveraging the RAM’s comprehensive industry and technical knowledge.
Deepen the understanding of client goals and challenges, effectively translating them into potential solution deals.
Enhance and solidify value‑driven relationships within the domain of accounts, positioning the RAM as a trusted consultant in the eyes of clients.
Deploy technology, product insights, and industry expertise to further elucidate the unique value of our solutions to customers.
Intensify multi‑tiered relationships across accounts, harmonizing with both internal and external resources. The RAM’s efforts are instrumental in reinforcing Forescout’s stature as a strategic long‑term partner.
Oversee and refine the account and opportunity management process, ensuring seamless alignment across our multifaceted team.
Collaborate seamlessly with delivery teams, ensuring each project leads organically to the next, fortifying business continuity.
The RAM’s presence at significant project milestones and executive evaluations is pivotal. Their insights and feedback are integral to our relentless pursuit of excellence.
What Will You Bring To Forescout
Ideal candidate has 8+ years selling experience with significant experience within the region and security sales a plus.
The candidate must have a history of repeated success at every level, from winning in high school/college competitions to President’s Club winners are most welcome!
Proven track record of recent sales to enterprise accounts with 10,000+ employee companies.
Understand how to solution sell multi‑product software & hardware solutions.
Excellent presentation skills is a must.
Proven ability to work effectively with and across all levels of business contacts within large and complex organisations.
Experienced negotiator working with our customers and partners to complete terms, conditions, considerations, and pricing.
Loves to collaborate within an internal set of multi‑functional teams such as Sales Engineers, Inside Reps, Marketing, & Professional Services to ensure target quotas as achieved and exceeded.
Highly developed business development, negotiation skills and ability to influence contract content.
Thrives in a high‑paced, changing work environment (really, you’d be bored by anything less).
Ability to multi‑task while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
