General Manager to lead its Benelux operations, driving commercial performance and strengthening its position across retail, wholesale, and food service channels.
Responsibilities:
Lead and own full P&L responsibility for the Benelux region (Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg), delivering sustainable revenue growth, margin expansion, and market share gains across multiple channels
Define and execute the regional commercial strategy, aligning with global leadership while adapting to local market dynamics, customer requirements, and competitive landscape
Drive revenue growth through key account development (major multiples, discounters, and strategic partners), new business acquisition, and optimisation of route-to-market and distribution networks
Build, lead, and develop a high‑performing cross‑functional team across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Operations, fostering a strong performance culture and accountability
Strengthen relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry stakeholders, negotiating strategic agreements and ensuring best‑in‑class execution across channels
Identify and capitalise on market trends, consumer insights, and category opportunities, supporting innovation pipelines (NPD launches, category expansion, premiumisation)
Optimise pricing, promotions, and trade investment strategies to maximise ROI and profitability while maintaining competitiveness
Ensure operational excellence across supply chain, demand planning, and customer service to support growth ambitions and maintain high service levels
Collaborate closely with global and regional leadership teams, contributing to broader strategic initiatives and ensuring alignment across markets
Act as the senior representative for the business in the Benelux region, driving brand presence, reputation, and long‑term partnerships
Profile:
Proven General Manager / Country Manager / Commercial Director experience within the food or FMCG industry in Benelux
Strong track record of delivering consistent revenue growth and managing full P&L responsibility
Deep understanding of retail, wholesale, and food service dynamics across the Netherlands and Belgium
Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and scale businesses in competitive markets
Strategic mindset combined with hands‑on execution and strong commercial acumen
Fluent English required;
Dutch and/or French highly advantageous
