The Opportunity

Orus is scaling fast and entering a new strategic phase with the launch of the Netherlands.

To make this a success, we’re looking for our first Sales in the country, someone who will sign our first clients and lay the foundations of a scalable sales engine.

This is a true builder role. You won’t just close deals; you’ll help design and structure the sales machine that will power our growth in the Dutch market.

Your Mission Building the Dutch sales motion
  • Adapt the pitch and sales approach to the Dutch market
  • Help refine scripts, qualification frameworks, and objection handling
  • Work closely with Product, Insurance, and Care teams to ensure a smooth and compliant customer experience
Sales & customer conversion
  • Convert inbound leads into customers, end to end
  • Qualify prospects with strong listening skills and commercial judgment
  • Understand customer needs to propose relevant, high‑value solutions
  • Drive deals through to closing with rigor and enthusiasm
Structuring for scale
  • Manage your pipeline and key KPIs
  • Identify friction points and opportunities to improve conversion
  • Contribute to building the foundations of a future Dutch sales team and playbook

This role is designed to evolve into Sales Lead and Head of Sales, based on performance and ambition.

Ideal Profile
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in sales B2B ideally in a high‑growth startup environment
  • You’ve already sold a product that requires explanation, trust, or structuring (SaaS, fintech, insurance, services…)
  • As part of onboarding, you’ll be supported in obtaining the required Dutch sales certification (Wft), a standard step for commercial roles in this market.
  • You are comfortable building things from scratch
  • You are hands‑on, structured, and proactive
  • You think beyond closing: you care about how sales should scale
  • You connect with Orus’ mission of simplifying insurance for professionals
  • You are fluent in English & Dutch

  • The Netherlands becomes one of Orus’ fastest‑growing new markets
  • You’ve signed a strong base of flagship clients and built a solid pipeline
  • A clear, repeatable Dutch sales playbook is in place
  • The first sales hires are onboarded and ramping successfully
  • You naturally evolve into Head of Sales Netherlands as the team scales
