We are looking for a Sales Professional to add to the European Liquidity sales team focusing on financial institutional clients. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for new business development across European pension funds, insurance companies, asset managers, hedge funds, wealth managers, electronic money institutions, and distribution partnerships, as well as relationship management for a sub‑section of existing clients in continental Europe.
The sales executive should either have existing senior relationships or be able to establish relationships at a senior level with key institutions.
Primary Responsibilities Cover existing and prospective institutional clients.
Research new prospects and markets across continental Europe.
Plan and execute prospecting strategy to showcase Morgan Stanley Liquidity Solutions to prospective clients, and service and develop further existing client relationships.
Leverage relationships and resources across the firm to bring the best of Morgan Stanley to existing and prospective clients.
Liaise with legal and compliance teams on distribution agreements.
Be responsible for regular pipeline and sales activity reporting to management.
Essential Skills Required Previous asset management, treasury and/or cash management client sales experience.
Strong academic qualifications; educated to degree standard or equivalent.
A results‑oriented individual who thrives on achievement and performance.
Ability to manage competing demands and priorities.
Highly detail‑oriented, self‑starter and team player, with the ability to maintain accuracy and effectiveness while working in a high‑pressure and fast‑paced environment.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively project‑manage activities to meet all deadlines.
Strong organisational and analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Understanding of the fixed‑income markets is desirable.
The role requires FCA registration; an existing qualification is highly advantageous.
