Why this role matters
As a Small Opportunities Seller / Business Development Specialist, you’ll serve as the operational and commercial focal point for ICEYE’s small opportunity pipeline — managing all opportunities below €100K originating from marketing, partners, inbound interest, and referrals. You’ll capture, qualify, track, and drive these opportunities through a structured and scalable process — combining business development, sales execution, process optimisation, and data‑driven pipeline management.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building efficient systems, engaging with customers, and helping scale a fast‑growing geospatial business through standardisation, automation, and collaboration.

Your Day‑to‑day Responsibilities

Own the full pipeline for all commercial opportunities below €100K — from intake and qualification through to close.

Consolidate and track all incoming leads across sources in a single, structured CRM framework with high data quality.

Qualify opportunities based on commercial potential, strategic fit, and customer needs; drive timely, professional follow‑up.

Design and continuously improve scalable workflows for high‑volume opportunity handling, including automation where applicable.

Prepare customer‑facing communications, commercial responses, and supporting materials.

Collaborate with marketing, partnerships, sales, operations, and regional teams to align on opportunity handling and pipeline visibility.

Provide regular reporting on pipeline status, conversion metrics, and operational bottlenecks to internal stakeholders.

Engage customers professionally across all interactions, developing a solid understanding of their requirements and relevant ICEYE capabilities.

Ensure disqualified opportunities are properly documented and communicated to relevant stakeholders.

Coordinate with channel partners, e.g., resellers and agents, to drive intake of transactional opportunities.

Serve as credible face of ICEYE to channel partners: educate channel partners on ICEYE capabilities; promote ICEYE capabilities to channel partners, and support partners’ queries to ICEYE.

What We’re Looking For
Must haves

2–5 years of experience in business development, sales operations, commercial coordination, or consulting.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple opportunities and stakeholders simultaneously.

Experience with CRM systems and sales tracking tools, with strong attention to data quality.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Experience presenting effectively and persuasively to customers and stakeholders in English.

Working experience with office tools (Microsoft Office, Google Office).

Structured, organized, and able to work independently while collaborating across teams.

Due to the nature of this role, applicants must hold nationality of a NATO Member State in order to meet applicable security screening requirements.

Nice to haves

Experience in geospatial, Earth observation, defence, aerospace, SaaS, or consulting environments.

Familiarity with workflow automation tools…
