Reporting into the European sales leadership team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing key customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities across the Dutch market. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded sales professional to join an established international business with ambitious growth plans.
Purpose of the Mission Responsible for driving sales growth and business development within the Netherlands by managing customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and expanding market presence across key industrial sectors. The role focuses on achieving revenue targets, developing strategic accounts, and supporting long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Manage and grow sales activities across the Netherlands.
Develop relationships with existing customers and identify new business opportunities.
Conduct regular customer visits and maintain strong engagement with key accounts.
Identify customer needs, market trends, and project opportunities.
Promote and sell the company's portfolio of industrial products and solutions.
Achieve agreed sales targets and contribute to market share growth.
Account Management Provide technical and commercial support to customers and partners.
Deliver a high level of customer service throughout the sales cycle.
Maintain accurate customer, project, and opportunity records within CRM systems.
Support customer training and product awareness activities where required.
Commercial Activities Prepare and support quotations, proposals, and commercial negotiations.
Monitor competitor activity and market developments.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Market Development Support local sales and marketing initiatives, events, exhibitions, and customer engagement activities.
Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to support business strategy and product development.
What We’re Looking For Experience & Qualifications Degree-qualified in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
Proven experience in technical sales within industrial markets.
Experience selling engineered products, process equipment, thermal systems, or related solutions.
Demonstrated success managing complex sales processes and customer relationships.
Strong commercial awareness and customer focus.
Consultative and solution-oriented sales approach.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated, organised, and results-driven.
Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Fluent in English;
Dutch language skills are desirable.
Other Requirements Willingness to travel extensively within the Netherlands and occasionally internationally.
Responsible for achieving sales targets, territory growth, and compliance with company policies.
