Position: Fixed Income Sales Trader Slovakia/Czech Republic
Role Overview
As a Senior Fixed Income Sales Trader for Slovakia and the Czech Republic, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of institutional buy‑side clients primarily across this region. We already have an established client portfolio ready to be contacted, but expanding this network with Slovak‑speaking counter parties is equally important—making business development a key component of the role. In this position, you will closely monitor market developments, sharing valuable trading insights and ideas with colleagues to support collective success.

Collaboration and teamwork will be central to your day‑to‑day activities, alongside taking individual ownership of your responsibilities and contributing to the overall performance of the team.

Key Responsibilities

Client Portfolio Management:
Oversee and manage your own portfolio of institutional clients in Slovakia and the Czech Republic, while actively developing new relationships with local counter parties.

Market Insights & Idea Sharing:
Stay informed about market developments and share relevant trading ideas with colleagues to enhance team performance.

Transaction Management:
Facilitate and arrange transactions between institutional clients, ensuring smooth execution and optimal outcomes.

Team

Collaboration:

Foster a win‑together mentality by working closely with team members, sharing knowledge, and supporting less experienced colleagues.

What You’ll Bring

Experience:

3/4 years of experience (preferably in Fixed Income Markets) in a client‑facing role with Slovak or Czech clients.

Education:

An academic degree in finance and/or economics.

Commercial Drive:
Strong commercial acumen and a proactive approach to client relationships and market opportunities, including business development.

Languages:

Proficiency in English and Slovak is highly preferred;
Czech is a strong plus.

Location:

Based in, or willing to relocate to, Amsterdam, with occasional travel required for business purposes.
