Our client, a private equity-backed consumer goods business is currently looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to join the team just outside of Amsterdam. In this role you will take ownership of their most significant retail relationships, as well as leading the commercial agenda across a major Dutch buying group.
Reporting to the Head of Sales Netherlands, your responsibilities will cover account planning, trade terms negotiations, and full P&L ownership across Net Revenue, Gross Margin and the 4
Ps. You will work closely with marketing, trade marketing and supply, and will coach and develop two junior account managers alongside managing your own portfolio.
The ideal candidate will have four-plus years of Key Account Management experience at head office level, ideally within FMCG or consumer goods, with a proven track record in negotiations and joint business plan development. Experience in trade marketing or category management is an advantage, as is familiarity with Nielsen or comparable retail data tools.
The position is offered on a hybrid basis, requiring three days per week in the Amsterdam office. Dutch fluency is required alongside English.
Offering a base salary (inclusive of holiday pay) of up to €75,000, plus bonus and car allowance.
