Job Summary
Out‑Licensing Manager (Europe) will play a pivotal role in driving B2B growth through strategic licensing partnerships across European markets. This position is responsible for identifying, structuring, and executing out‑licensing opportunities, leading commercial negotiations, and building long‑term partnerships that expand the company’s product portfolio and regional presence. The role requires strong commercial judgment, deep pharmaceutical industry knowledge, and cross‑functional leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, assess, and prioritize out‑licensing opportunities across Europe within key therapeutic areas.
Build and manage strategic relationships with pharmaceutical partners, distributors, and regional stakeholders.
Lead the full deal lifecycle, from opportunity scouting through contract execution and ongoing alliance management.
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of licensing prospects aligned with the company’s market access strategy.
Collaborate closely with R&D, Regulatory, and Supply Chain teams to ensure licensing readiness and dossier preparation.
Lead commercial negotiations to secure optimal deal terms while ensuring compliance and long‑term partnership value.
Work with Legal, Finance, and Operations teams on contract execution, product registrations, and post‑deal management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
MBA or postgraduate qualification in Business or International Management is preferred.
Minimum of 8–10 years’ experience in pharmaceutical business development or licensing, with a strong focus on Europe.
Proven track record of executing successful out‑licensing deals and managing complex negotiations.
Strong understanding of the European pharmaceutical value chain, regulatory environment, and commercial models.
Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and alliance management skills.
Strong communication abilities with demonstrated success in cross‑cultural collaboration.
