Sales Manager

Metafora Search  is partnered with a leading global logistics provider looking to hire an experienced  Sales Manager  to lead a high-performing commercial team and drive revenue growth across the  Netherlands .
This is a commercially focused leadership role responsible for developing sales strategy, winning new business, growing existing customer relationships, and coaching a successful sales team. You ll play a key role in delivering ambitious growth targets while working within an established international logistics organisation.

The Role   Lead, coach and develop a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
Develop and execute territory sales plans aligned with the wider commercial strategy.
Drive new business acquisition while growing existing customer accounts.
Build long-term relationships with key customers across multiple industry sectors.
Identify new market opportunities through customer engagement and market analysis.
Support the delivery of tailored logistics solutions across freight forwarding and supply chain services.
Monitor sales performance, improve conversion rates, and drive commercial excellence.
Work closely with senior leadership to deliver sustainable business growth.
About You    7+ years  of sales experience, ideally within  logistics, freight forwarding or supply chain .
Previous experience leading and developing successful sales teams.
Proven track record of consistently delivering and exceeding sales targets.
Strong commercial awareness with excellent business development skills.
Experienced in managing key customer relationships and winning new business.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and influencing skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with CRM experience considered an advantage.
Bachelor s degree or equivalent commercial experience.
