Job Description & How to Apply Below
The client is the fastest growing "value-added" distributor of security materials. We are passionate about helping customers succeed in this exciting and growing market. We understand what customer service is, but more importantly, we understand that our people are our greatest asset. We pride ourselves on having the largest and best-trained team of sales and technical professionals, making us an indispensable link for our customers.
Are you ready to become the reason we’re considered the best in the business? Do you want to work for an employer where you are appreciated and part of an enthusiastic team? Then apply today!
What will you do
As a Key Account Manager , you are responsible for establishing, managing and improving all service and maintenance agreements with customers. You ensure that contracts and SLAs are drawn up correctly and that the agreements made are complied with. You actively manage performance, maintain customer relationships and ensure that expectations are clear. The emphasis is on direction, relationship management and the continuous optimization of services.
You will work within the Inside Sales team, together with three Inside Sales Specialists, and form an important link between Sales, Projects and Service Coordination. Thanks to your overview and communication skills, commercial, technical and operational processes fit together well. ARAS Security is a family business with an open culture and short lines of communication, where cooperation is a matter of course.
Work in the office
At the office, you ensure tight control of everything that has to do with SLAs and customer agreements. You continuously coordinate with the internal SLA manager about planning, progress and reporting, so that everything runs smoothly. KPIs, contract agreements and any escalations are discussed in a timely and targeted manner. In addition, you carefully prepare customer visits and evaluations, so that you are always well prepared.
You regularly interact with colleagues from service, technology and sales to optimally coordinate the service. You also keep a grip on commercial opportunities by actively following up on outstanding quotations and offers.
Outside the door, you are the face of the organization towards the customer. You will perform periodic SLA evaluations on location, clearly discussing performance, KPIs and areas for improvement. You actively build strong customer relationships and know how to manage expectations well. At the same time, you have an eye for risks and opportunities: you identify where contracts can be improved or expanded.
In the event of escalations, you are the first point of contact for the customer and you ensure professional handling. In addition, you support the Account Manager during conversations in which your contract knowledge makes the difference.
You divide your week between the office in Drunen (±2 days) and customer locations (±3 days). That means a lot of variety, regular customer contact and regular sparring with your colleagues in the office.
What makes this role interesting
You will be given a lot of room to deepen customer relationships and improve contract performance, within an organization where your ideas are welcome and where you have real impact. Furthermore, this position offers a varied combination of customer visits and internal work and you will work in a close-knit team within an accessible family business.
€4,800 to €6,000 gross p/m (depending on knowledge and experience)
32 to 40-hour working week
30 vacation days (plus option to buy 5 extra days)
Lease car
Extensive internal training and onboarding
€750 annually to spend on professional development
Good pension scheme (55% paid by the employer), lease bike plan, tax advantage sports
Cozy canteen with table football and pool table.
What we're looking for
HBO working and thinking level
5 years of work experience in a similar position
Experience with contract management systems (e.g., ERP or contract software)
Knowledge of contract management and legal principles
Understanding SLAs and service-oriented agreements
Insight into business processes and supplier management
Good command of the Dutch language, both verbally and in writing
You are analytically and communicatively strong, collaboration is your thing and you have an eye for detail.
