About the Opportunity

Building on our 30+ years of presence in The Netherlands and as a partner to marquee clients—including the top 3 Dutch banks, a global lithography leader, major international retailer, key government organizations and many more, we are looking to expand our Sales Team.
We are looking for a highly experienced Business Development Manager to spearhead our expansion within the High Tech and Manufacturing sectors. In this high-impact role, you will act as a strategic advisor, driving complex, cloud-driven business deals and positioning TCS as the digital transformation partner of choice.
What You Will Do
You will be the engine of our growth. You will own the entire sales lifecycle, from white-space discovery to contract execution.
Drive Strategic Growth: Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities within the Dutch high-tech, semiconductor, and manufacturing ecosystems. Develop and execute go-to-market strategies that generate robust pipelines and incremental revenue.
End-to-End Deal Making: Take full, hands-on ownership of the sales cycle. You will lead complex RFI/RFP processes, orchestrate consultative solution-selling, negotiate contracts, and successfully close medium-to-large-scale deals.
Relationship Mastery: Act as the face of TCS. Build profound, trust-based relationships with C-level/C-minus-1 executives, industry leaders, and external tech partners.
Collaborative Leadership: Work seamlessly with internal cross-functional teams (legal, finance, operations, delivery) to align our capabilities with client needs, ensuring the successful delivery of solutions and long-term customer success.
Who You Are
You are a proactive, results-driven closer with a deep understanding of how digital transformation, cloud adoption, SaaS, and AI are reshaping the manufacturing landscape.
Experience:
10+ years of proven experience in business development and sales, ideally within a large System Integrator (SI) or IT consultancy environment.
Industry Expertise: At least 3+ years specifically targeting the High-Tech, Semiconductor, or Manufacturing sectors in The Netherlands.
Network: You bring a strong, established network at the executive and decision-maker level (C-level / C-1) within the Dutch manufacturing industry.
Deal-Closing Prowess: A proven track record of independently managing the entire sales cycle, navigating large RFI/RFPs, and closing complex cloud infrastructure or digital transformation deals.
Skills:
Exceptional negotiation, stakeholder management, and strategic business acumen. You thrive in fast-paced environments and love winning as a team.
Education &
Languages:
A Master’s or HBO degree. You must be fully fluent in both Dutch and English (written and spoken).
