Responsibilities Account management
Manage and develop profitable sales in the assigned area of responsibility.
Manage regional key accounts and assigned global key accounts.
Manage and motivate channel partners, develop channel strategy for commercial success.
Negotiate and execute contracts with the strategic accounts.
Create account plans for all assigned customers and execute these plans in collaboration with Marketing and R&D teams.
Conduct general account management: customer visits, call reports, sampling, negotiations, customer service, etc.
Provide accurate sales forecasts monthly.
Negotiate sales contracts to ensure long-term profitable sales with the key customers.
Support the customer care and credit teams to fulfill orders according to plan and receive outstanding payments in a timely fashion.
Value Capture
Maximize price realization.
Manage cash collection including payment terms.
Ensure sales growth in the high-end application / geographic areas.
Gather and share market intelligence
Continually assess market and competitive situation in the assigned areas of responsibility. Gather volume/pricing/share intelligence.
Pipeline Creation and Execution
Provide business development for preservatives and sweeteners in food and non-food categories, including pharma, home care, cosmetic and personal care, in alignment with the business strategy.
Surface project ideas, execute translation priorities, request technical R&D resources for sales support, introduce and sell new products to customers.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Business, Food Science, Beverage Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in account management, sales, customer success, or a related commercial role.
Native or bilingual proficiency in English with fluent Spanish language skills (written and verbal).
Preferred candidates will live within reasonable driving distance of a major U.S. commercial airport to support travel requirements.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including both domestic and occasional international travel.
Strong relationship-building, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple customer accounts and priorities.
Must reside within the Eastern or Central Time Zone of the United States.
