What you'll do Develop and implement sales strategies to attract new clients and retain existing accounts, focusing on the Dutch-speaking market.
Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and assess their needs, tailoring solutions to meet their specific requirements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and engagement with our services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to enhance our offerings and address client feedback.
Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and initial contact to negotiation and closing deals.
Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients, showcasing the benefits of our booking platform and services.
Analyze sales data and client feedback to refine strategies and improve overall performance.
Participate in industry events and trade shows to represent Fare Harbor and network with potential clients and partners.
Provide ongoing support and training to clients, helping them maximize the use of our platform for their business needs.
Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs, contributing to the overall success of the sales team and the company.
Requirements Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken, is essential for effective communication with clients.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the software or technology sector.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
Excellent presentation and negotiation skills, with a persuasive communication style.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools to track performance and manage client relationships.
A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to adapt to changing market conditions and client needs.
Nice to have Experience in the travel, tourism, or hospitality industry is a plus.
Knowledge of additional languages is advantageous and can enhance client engagement.
Previous experience in a startup or fast-paced environment, demonstrating adaptability and resilience.
A degree in business, marketing, or a related field would be beneficial.
Skills & tools Proficiency in CRM systems such as Salesforce or Hub Spot for managing client interactions and sales processes.
Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and market trends effectively.
Ability to use presentation tools like PowerPoint or Google Slides for client meetings.
Familiarity with digital marketing tools and strategies to support lead generation efforts.
Excellent organizational skills to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
Competence in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Practical notes This position is based in Amsterdam, and candidates must be eligible to work in the Netherlands.
