With our Amsterdam office as the European hub, we are expanding our project development activities across Europe and are looking for entrepreneurial business development professionals to grow with us.

About the Role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to develop commercial and industrial renewable energy opportunities across Europe, with an initial focus on the Benelux region.

Your mission is to identify, develop and secure Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), Solar + Storage and EV Charging infrastructure projects, while building long-term partnerships throughout the European renewable energy ecosystem.

This is an opportunity to become one of the founding members of our European business development team.

Your Responsibilities
Project Development

Identify and develop C&I Battery Energy Storage opportunities

Develop EV Charging + BESS projects

Build and manage a high-quality project pipeline

Partnership Development
Develop strategic partnerships with:

Electrical Contractors

Energy Suppliers & Utilities

EV Charging Operators

Commercial & Industrial Property Owners

Logistics & Cold Storage Companies

Data Centers

Investors and Project Owners

Business Development

Prepare commercial proposals

Coordinate technical and commercial discussions

Negotiate partnership agreements

Close new business opportunities

Represent BESS SERVICE at industry events and exhibitions across Europe

Who We're Looking For
You may come from one of the following industries:

Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)

EV Charging

Renewable Energy

Utilities

EPC

Electrical Engineering

Industrial Energy Solutions

We especially value candidates who have:

A strong network within the European renewable energy industry

Experience in project development, business development or strategic partnerships

An entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to build business from the ground up

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Additional European languages such as Dutch, German, French, Spanish, Italian or Polish are considered a strong advantage.
