This new role offers the opportunity to build up the processes and procedures for Inside Sales in an international environment and have a meaningful impact from day one.
We offer a 12-month fixed-term opportunity to join Balchem during an exciting period of commercial growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage an existing international customer portfolio across the Choline Chloride and Ruminant Encapsulation portfolio. Act as the primary commercial contact for small-to- mid-ranged sized customer accounts.
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through proactive remote account management, opportunity management (e.g. lead generation & pipeline management) and product negotiations.
Lead CRM implementation, sales process optimization and maintaining accurate customer and commercial information in our CRM and ERP systems.
Coordinate closely with Supply Chain, Technical Services, Customer Service and other internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
Handle customer enquiries, documentation requests, complaints and order-related activities professionally and efficiently.
Monitor commercial performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Support product launches, commercial projects and other business initiatives as required.
Candidate Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Animal, Agricultural, Chemical Engineering, Food Sciences or another relevant discipline.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Inside Sales, Account Management or another customer-facing commercial role acquired ideally within the Animal Nutrition segment.
Other experience within Animal Nutrition, (Feed/food) ingredients, Specialty chemicals segments, or another B2B manufacturing environment will also be considered.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Experience with ERP and CRM systems.
Experience in preparing quotations, managing orders and supporting commercial negotiations.
Excellent written and spoken English. Knowledge of additional languages will be considered an advantage.
Experience working in an international matrix organization is a strong advantage.
