Job description
Total Rewards
We all know that great work deserves great compensation. But rewarding deserving professionals is becoming increasingly complex. The workforce is more demanding. There is a focus on transparency, not just at executive level but at the workforce level too. New jobs, with no pay precedent, are emerging all the time. And flatter structures and contingent work forces mean career paths are no longer clear.
We understand the differing dynamics of compensation markets around the globe and in all sectors. We know current trends, how to create engaging employee value propositions, and have the right Total Rewards strategy to accelerate sales. We develop flexible and competitive compensation strategies that align employees and senior executives with the business strategy. And we build thoughtful employee engagement programs that attract and engage a diverse workforce and reinforce company culture and goals.
Purpose of the Position
* To provide tailor made Total Reward solutions in line with the client's organizational strategy (e.g. salary structures, salary increase systems, bonus schemes, benefit policies)
* Working with clients on projects to be ready for the EU Pay Transparency Directive
* Supporting clients to create robust job architecture and grading structure
Key Responsibilities
(Senior) Principal Consultants will work on project teams to deliver Total Reward solutions that meet and exceed client expectations. You will already have worked in the Organisation Strategy/Total Reward space and developed an understanding of one or more of the following - Job Evaluation, Salary Benchmarking, Career Architecture, Performance Management and/or Executive Pay.
At this level, business development and client relationship management feature as an important focus of the role in addition to delivery. Individuals may major on either delivery or business development, or indeed have more of a mixed portfolio. Regardless of major, individuals will contribute to bids, and manage/lead relationships and/or projects of considerable complexity.
This role will focus on EU Pay transparency. Pay transparency means openly sharing how compensation decisions are made-this includes salary ranges, pay frameworks, and rationale behind pay. It aims to promote fairness, reduce pay gaps, and build trust across the organization.
What You'll Be Working On:
Pay Transparency Initiatives
* Championing Fair Compensation:
Help implement transparent pay practices that ensure equity across roles, demographics, and regions.
* Analyzing and Communicating Pay Frameworks:

Contribute to aligning compensation strategies with evolving laws like the EU Pay Transparency Directive and U.S. state mandates.
* Supporting DE&I Goals:
Use pay transparency as a tool to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization.
* Leveraging Digital Platforms:
Monitor and respond to insights from salary-sharing platforms (e.g., Glassdoor, Pay Scale) to inform compensation strategy.
* Engaging a New Workforce Generation:
Collaborate with HR and leadership to meet expectations of Millennia ls and Gen Z for openness and fairness in pay.
* Boosting Talent Attraction and Retention:
Help position the organization as a trusted, ethical employer through transparent and competitive compensation.
* Identifying and Closing Pay Gaps:
