Job Summary:
Provide compassionate nursing care to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting. Ensure adherence to all regulatory standards while delivering high-quality patient services.
Responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately.
- Monitor and assess patient health statuses regularly.
- Document patient care and progress in medical records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans.
- Educate patients and families on health management and procedures.
- Comply with all facility policies, state licensing requirements, and safety protocols.
- Hold a valid NYS Registered Nurse license.
- Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in an SNF or LTC setting.
- Maintain current BLS certification.
- Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
