Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled ICU Registered Nurse with extensive experience to provide quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will be flexible to assist in Medical-Surgical units as needed and possess necessary licensure and certifications.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes promptly.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient information accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Float to Medical-Surgical units as needed to support staffing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active NYS Registered Nurse license.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years' experience in ICU settings.
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Demonstrate travel experience, preferably with recent renewals.
• Ability to float to Medical-Surgical units comfortably.
• Show willingness to work with local travelers within 50 miles with a reduced bill rate.
