ICU Critical Care Nurse

Provide specialized critical care nursing for ICU patients, ensuring quality patient outcomes through expert clinical judgment and compassionate care. Flexibility to float to medical-surgical units when needed.

Deliver advanced ICU nursing care to critically ill patients by monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing complex medical equipment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and progress. Adhere to safety protocols, including BLS, ACLS, and PALS standards, to ensure patient and staff safety. Float to medical-surgical units as necessary, providing high-quality care across departments.

Ensure compliance with all licensing, certifications, and agency requirements.

Possess a minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience demonstrating proficiency in critical care. Hold a current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification. Maintain a valid nursing license valid in the state of assignment. Demonstrate travel experience, preferably with recent renewal documentation. Be able to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments. Exhibit excellent communication and clinical skills.
