Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Job Summary:

Seeking a dedicated Med Surg (MS) nurse to provide quality patient care in a fast-paced medical surgical setting. The ideal candidate will have substantial clinical experience and current licensure to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer direct patient care based on physician orders and established protocols.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and update individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care.
• Maintain compliance with all safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Demonstrate proficiency with clinical equipment and emergency procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent Med Surg experience.
• Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Have at least 1 year of travel nursing experience, with renewal history preferred.
• Demonstrate strong clinical skills and ability to adapt to diverse patient needs.
