Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Provide direct patient care, assessments, vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and treatment services in emergency, correctional, acute care, rehabilitation, and long-term care settings.
• Perform IV insertion, IV therapy, venipuncture, phlebotomy, specimen collection, wound care, and other clinical nursing procedures while ensuring patient safety.
• Respond to medical emergencies, assist with trauma care, CPR/BLS interventions, patient stabilization, and triage support in high-acuity environments.
• Maintain accurate patient records, charting, and documentation using EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Meditech, and Point Click Care .
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop care plans, monitor patient progress, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

To be considered for this position, you should have:

• Active New York State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License in good standing.
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent nursing experience in Emergency Department (ER), Correctional Health, Acute Care, Long-Term Care, Rehabilitation, or Skilled Nursing settings.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification; additional certifications are preferred.
• Proficiency in IV insertion, venipuncture, phlebotomy, medication administration, wound care, and patient monitoring.
• Experience utilizing EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or Point Click Care , with strong communication, critical-thinking, and teamwork skills.
