About the Role

We are looking to fill this position for our newly opened PERLab office in Stuttgart or Amsterdam. On-site employment is strongly preferred.

PERLab (Product Excellence & Renewal Lab) is Kearney's dedicated product design and innovation team. We work with clients across industries-from automotive and industrial goods to consumer products and electronics-to continuously enhance and transform their products.

At one of our new PERLab offices in Stuttgart or Amsterdam, you'll join a team of product strategists, designers, engineers, and scientists who work on creating better products across industries - from yoghurt cups to satellites.

What to expect

* Support our Product Excellence & Renewal Lab consultants in their day-to-day work and become an integral part of live client projects.

* Contribute to improving products in multiple ways-making them more cost-efficient, customer-centric, or sustainable.

* Take on a wide variety of tasks, such as conducting product analyses, developing comprehensive portfolio strategies, researching consumer behavior and market trends, identifying new production processes, and assisting with data analysis and client presentations.

* Help organize and coordinate internal and external events (e.g., workshops) and maintain contact with external partners.

Who you are

* You're curious about how things work, why they succeed, and passionate about improving products together with your team and clients.

* You are currently enrolled at a university (from the 4th bachelor's semester onward) and have gained initial practical experience through one or two internships. Master's students should be at least 12 months away from graduation.

* You have strong communication skills in both German and English, spoken and written.

* We welcome applications from students who are currently enrolled in STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) and business administration with technical interest.

Additional Information

* You'll work 15-20 hours per week during the semester, with the option to increase hours during semester breaks.

* Ideally, you are available for at least one year or longer.
