Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) and inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to DOT regulations;
Drive tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate local, over-the-road routes, and overnight drive and drop routes to deliver and unload products;
Follow DOT regulations and company safety guidelines; promptly report safety hazards and ensure secured freight;
Verify delivery with customers and obtain signatures; load customer returns and secure trailer;
Complete daily hours-of-service logs and maintain housekeeping on tractor and loading dock areas
