• Upholds a strong commitment to safety through responsible vehicle operation, applying defensive driving practices and maintaining awareness of road and environmental conditions
• Ensures outreach services are delivered reliably by supporting timely transportation of staff, supplies, and program materials to a variety of community locations
• Maintains vehicle readiness through consistent attention to cleanliness, functionality, and routine inspection practices
• Demonstrates professionalism and accountability through accurate documentation, including logs, reports, and proactive communication with supervisors regarding schedules, vehicle needs, or concerns
• Supports smooth outreach operations by assisting with preparation, organization, and general setup of mobile service environments

Meals on Wheels Driver Minimum Salary: $20.00 per hour

Meals on Wheels Driver

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 4:00PM (35 hours a week - 1 hour unpaid lunch)

• High School diploma or GED;
  Associates Degree in Human Services or related field preferred.
• MUST have:
  • Valid NYS Driver's License
  • Proof of current car insurance and registration
  • Access to a reliable, working vehicle
