A leading producer of high-quality surimi seafood products, serving customers worldwide has partnered with Express Employment Professionals of Mount Vernon. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Machine Maintenance Technician to join their team!
As a Machine Maintenance Technician your role is very crucial in ensuring the continuous operation and maintenance of production equipment. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on a variety of machines and systems to maximize production efficiency and minimize downtime.
What you get to do:
- Troubleshoot & repair machinery utilized in a food product manufacturing plant.
- Conduct routine inspections and repairs of machinery and premises.
- Disassemble and reassemble machinery for inspection or to replace defective parts.
- Maintain and service gear boxes, chains, motors and pumps.
- Assist with machine rebuilds and revisions.
- Perform periodic maintenance to machinery.
- Read and understand electrical diagrams, operating manuals & specifications.
- Interpret mechanical/electrical schematics.
- Alert supervisors and managers of safety or mechanical issues.
- Maintain work area and engineering shop in a professional and safe manner.
What you need to be successful:
- Two years' maintenance technician experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
- Able to work independently.
- Able to interpret mechanical/electrical schematics.
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 (DOE)
