As a Security Officer - Chemical Site Patrol - Full Time in Anacortes, WA
, you will safeguard clients in industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining highly visible to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication. Position details- Position Type: Full Time
- Pay Rate: $18.93 / Hour
- Mon: 05:00 PM – 05:00 AM
- Tue: 05:00 PM – 05:00 AM
- Sun: 05:00 PM – 05:00 AM

- Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the chemical and petrochemical location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, observations, and any incidents that occur during the shift.
- Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site representatives regarding incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences.
- Support site access control procedures, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required by site policies.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
