Staff Accountant

Description We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Staff Accountant to join our team in Anaheim, California. This is a long-term contract position within the real estate and property industry, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to financial operations with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting expertise and a proven ability to manage high-volume financial processes.

Responsibilities:

- Handle full-cycle accounts payable processes, including invoice processing and three-way matching.

- Conduct detailed audits and reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.

- Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger with precision.

- Manage asset accounting activities to track and record company assets effectively.

- Process high volumes of invoices while adhering to company policies and deadlines.

- Perform thorough bank reconciliations to ensure financial records align with statements.

- Utilize Infor M3 software to streamline accounting operations and maintain data accuracy.

- Collaborate with internal teams to support financial reporting and compliance efforts.

- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records promptly.

- Uphold strict attention to detail to guarantee the integrity of financial data. Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, particularly within accounts payable and general ledger management.

- Proficiency in processing journal entries and performing bank reconciliations.

- Strong knowledge of invoice processing and three-way matching.

- Familiarity with asset accounting practices and procedures.

- Experience working with high-volume financial transactions and maintaining accuracy.

- Advanced skills in using Infor M3 software for accounting tasks.

- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently while meeting tight deadlines and maintaining quality.
