Senior Accountant - Tax

Our client is a well-established CPA firm located in Orange County with a diverse portfolio of clients in various industries including but not limited to:
Manufacturing, Distribution, Construction/Real Estate, Non-Profit. They are on Hybrid work schedule with the exception of Busy Season (January to April) where it's required to be fully onsite.

They are currently seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant for their Anaheim, CA office who possesses the essential functions, knowledge, skills and abilities to perform this position. The Senior Tax Accountant is responsible for performing specifically assigned tasks in accordance with directions furnished by the engagement senior, manager, director or partner.

• Prepare tax returns for individuals and various types of entities including Multi-State and foreign disclosures.
• Prepare and deliver tax projections to clients.
• Assist with IRS and FTB field and office examinations, including preparing files with factual detail and applicable tax law.
• Have a working knowledge of tax research programs for tax research assignments.
• Help clients with inquiries regarding accounting and tax issues.
• Participate in recruiting events.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Minimum of 3-years of experience gained within a public accounting firm
• Master's Degree in Taxation is a plus.
• Certified Public Accountant license
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong presentation and organizational skills
• Highly motivated to learn and grow within the firm
• Capable of managing multiple client engagements in addition to completing tasks related to business development
