Compensation: $26/hr.
- $30/hr.
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job DescriptionOur client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join their accounting team. This role will support day-to-day accounts payable operations in a fast-paced environment and requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage a high volume of invoices.
The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for processing invoices, ensuring accurate data entry, reconciling vendor accounts, and assisting with resolving discrepancies. This position works closely with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely and accurate payment processing while maintaining organized financial records.
Key Responsibilities- Process and enter vendor invoices into the accounting system with a high level of accuracy
- Review invoices and supporting documentation to ensure proper approvals and compliance with company policies
- Perform three-way matching between invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documentation
- Identify and resolve discrepancies related to pricing, quantities, or documentation
- Process and code operational expenses such as freight, service, and administrative invoices
- Maintain organized physical and electronic accounts payable files
- Reconcile vendor statements and investigate outstanding balances
- Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to resolve invoice or payment issues
- Provide general accounts payable and accounting support as needed
- Prior Accounts Payable experience in a high-volume environment
- Experience performing invoice matching and discrepancy resolution
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Solid data entry and 10-key skills
- Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage documentation and maintain accurate records
- Reliable, methodical, and process-oriented approach to work
