Accounting Associate

The Accounting Associate will assist the Senior Finance Manager with all accounting functions, including establishing and maintaining accounting principles, preparing and evaluating financial operating reports, and presenting findings to Senior Management.

• Performs day‑to‑day accounting activities so that the general ledger, trial balance, and key account reconciliations are adequately prepared and monitored.
• Prepares and performs bank reconciliations.
• Prepares invoices and monthly revenue recognition journal entries.
• Assists with flash reports and various financial analysis and reporting.
• Assists in preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
• Performs A/R and A/P functions as assigned.
• Performs monthly account analysis on various general ledger accounts.
• Prepares balance sheet reconciliations and reviews with the Accounting Manager and Director of Finance on a monthly basis.
• Contributes to a positive team atmosphere.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to work at a fast pace.
• 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office software required.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Highly analytical and able to think creatively and understand complex business dynamics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and work in a deadline‑oriented environment.
• Flexible to work extended hours, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Hourly rate: $25–$28, full‑time.

• Constant standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting, reaching, and repetitive motions.
