We are an established manufacturer with a strong reputation for quality and long-standing customer relationships. As production continues to grow, we are expanding our accounting team and looking for a Senior Accountant who can take ownership of the close and support the operations side of the business. • Hands-on mentorship from a Controller who develops people and promotes from within

This role owns significant portions of the monthly close and partners with operations on inventory and cost accuracy.

• Perform month-end close activities including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Maintain inventory accounting including valuation, reserves, and cycle count reconciliation
• Analyze manufacturing variances and support standard cost updates
• Prepare monthly financial statements and variance commentary for leadership
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain supporting schedules
• Partner with operations, purchasing, and production on cost and inventory accuracy
• Support annual audit requests, tax schedules, and internal documentation
• Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and controls

• Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience in a manufacturing or inventory-based environment
• Strong understanding of GAAP, month-end close, and account reconciliation
• Working knowledge of inventory and cost accounting
• Strong Excel skills and ERP system experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
