This role supports the monthly close and takes ownership of assigned reconciliations and schedules.

• Prepare journal entries and accruals as part of the monthly close
• Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts and maintain supporting schedules
• Support inventory accounting including cycle count research and valuation entries
• Process and review accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Assist with fixed asset tracking, depreciation, and capital expenditure records
• Prepare recurring reports and gather data for variance analysis
• Support audit and tax requests with documentation and schedule preparation
  
  Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and documentation

• Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience
• Understanding of GAAP, journal entries, and account reconciliation
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience working in an ERP or accounting system
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
