Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Staff Accountant to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $30.00 to $32.00 per hour.

• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations to support accurate financial reporting.
• Assist with month end close activities and ensure accounting transactions are recorded in a timely manner.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes while maintaining accurate financial records.
• Reconcile corporate credit card activity and investigate discrepancies as needed.
• Participate in accounting projects and process improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency.

• A Bachelor degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Bring experience in staff accounting, general ledger accounting, or a related accounting function.
• Demonstrate knowledge of month end close procedures, accrual accounting, and account reconciliations.
• Possess experience working with accounting software and enterprise resource planning systems.
• Maintain the ability to support accounting activities across multiple entities, departments, or business locations.

• Apply strong analytical and problem solving skills to evaluate financial information and resolve accounting issues.
• Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail when preparing entries, reconciliations, and financial records.
• Maintain proficiency with accounting systems and the ability to learn new financial platforms quickly.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Bring experience with multi entity organizations, financial reporting, or accounting software platforms considered beneficial.
