General Clerk
Anaheim, CA
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Job Summary
The General Clerk provides administrative and operational support to ensure efficient branch operations. This role is responsible for assisting with billing, warehouse support, customer returns, order processing, recordkeeping, and general office administration. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with clerical and administrative functions supporting branch operations.
- Support customer billing activities, including freight and inventory billing.
- Manage the pick ticket process, including allocating products to orders and printing pick tickets for priority shipments.
- Review routine reports to identify and resolve invoice and pick ticket discrepancies.
- Process customer return requests and assist with generating Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) for repairs.
- Support customer credit processing and related documentation.
- Assist warehouse personnel with receiving, picking, and handling products as needed.
- Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail.
- Maintain organized filing systems and support year-end records management projects.
- Order office supplies and coordinate office lunches as needed.
- Provide responsive customer service and assist with customer inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Support additional administrative and operational tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Excel.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Reliable, dependable, and self-motivated.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic data entry and administrative support experience preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Work Experience
- Previous clerical, administrative, customer service, warehouse support, or office support experience preferred.
- Experience with billing, order processing, inventory management, or customer returns is a plus.
- Experience working in a branch, distribution, warehouse, or industrial environment is beneficial.
