FX is seeking a Senior Executive Assistant to provide administrative support to the Executive Vice President of Development. Responsibilities include heavy scheduling, tracking and logging incoming material, and answering phones.
Responsibilities- Schedule meetings, answer phones, make travel arrangements, handle expense reports, and various other administrative tasks to support the EVP, Development
- Track, log, and manage incoming submissions of written and visual material and keep an accurate account of all materials that are submitted, including scripts, cuts, outlines, and submissions
- Serve as the liaison to other departments for information on series, communicating accurate show information to talent agents and internal partners and managing high-volume information flow confidentially
- Support the department and other executives as needed, including scheduling studio meetings, updating department records, and researching various properties and/or arenas to potentially develop into series
- 2+ years previous work experience at a talent agency, production company studio or network with a solid grasp of the entertainment business
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a positive, collaborative working style and the ability to interact professionally with senior executives, talent, and their representatives
- Highly organized and resourceful, with strong attention to detail, the ability to anticipate needs, and proven success managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Able to manage and disseminate tasks punctually and properly
- High level of confidentiality, judgment, and integrity in handling sensitive information and materials.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to evaluate scripts and other creative materials in relation to development projects
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Words, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Experience supporting an SVP or above preferred
- Knowledge and passion for entertainment and media
- Undergraduate degree
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $65,272 to $87,560 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
