Responsibilities
- Verifies and ensures accuracy of recorded information, including tax, forms, fees, license/vin information, etc.
- Verifies that all documents are approved, signed and distributed according to established procedure.
- Serves as a point of contact for employee/customer questions about policies and procedures.
- Works exception queues and updates and validates title, registration and other exceptions in the system.
- Assists vendors, dealers, and other third parties with questions about processes, status and issue resolution.
- Troubleshoots and resolves issues for completion of title, registration and related work on behalf of internal and external customers.
- Keeps up to date with title, registration, and related regulatory requirements and changes.
- Completes title packets within given states requirements and deadlines.
- High School Diploma/GED and 3 years experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and up to 1 year of experience; or 5 years experience in a related field.
- Prior automotive titling experience is required.
- Valid Driver's license and safe driving record required.
- Dealer Track, VITU, AAA experience is strongly preferred.
- Notary license preferred but not required.
- Exceptional organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
- Must be positive, personable, self-motivated, and have strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Must be a team player but also able to work independently.
- Ability to learn different computer functions and programs, calculator and other office equipment.
- Ability to maintain a professional and pleasant attitude under a variety of circumstances.
Hourly base pay rate is $21.83 - $32.79/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
BenefitsEmployees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
