Amtec Staffing has partnered with a well‑established drywall specialty contractor in Anaheim
, CA to find an experienced Estimator to join their Pre‑Construction/Estimating team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company known for delivering high quality Retail, Restaurant, Grocery projects throughout Southern California.

Work alongside a team of estimators ranging from entry‑level to senior‑level and have a desire to mentor and coach lower‑level estimators. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Preconstruction - provide preconstruction services, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Bid Preparation – develop scopes of work, qualify subcontractor bids, complete bid forms and submit to owners.
- Bid Award – Transfer bid documentation to the construction team, review and suggest modifications to owner contracts, and issue subcontracts.
- Continuous Improvement – Develop procedures for each area of responsibility, continually review job responsibilities for areas to improve or streamline.
The successful candidates must be flexible, well organized, and work well in a team environment. Positive attitude and willingness to learn are required. Strong interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written, are necessary. Candidate must also possess good time management and problem‑solving skills.
Skills/Experience:
- Work Experience - At least (2-5) years of General Contracting experience in Estimating for Retail or Grocery T.I. and/or Ground‑Up projects.
- Software – Advanced in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel and Microsoft Project. Proficient in Bluebeam
, Bidmail and CMIC are ideal. - Goal oriented – Ability to meet set goals
- Organizational ability – able to plan, prioritize, organize and monitor projects/tasks.
