Key Responsibilities- Lead overall project execution, including planning, scheduling, cost control, quality, and safety, ensuring successful delivery from preconstruction through closeout.
- Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to project teams; delegate responsibilities, foster accountability, and support staff development.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders; build and maintain strong working relationships.
- Manage subcontractor and supplier coordination, procurement, contract administration, and scopes of work.
- Oversee project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, change order management, and profitability.
- Monitor project progress and schedules in collaboration with the Superintendent; implement corrective actions as needed to maintain timelines.
- Lead and participate in project meetings, ensuring clear communication, documentation, and follow-through on action items.
- Resolve complex project issues, claims, and disputes while proactively identifying risks and implementing solutions.
- Partner with Estimating during preconstruction, develop bid packages, and support design and constructability decisions.
- Assist Business Development with RFP responses, technical proposals, and client presentations.
- Ensure implementation and maintenance of project administrative processes, including RFIs, submittals, document control, billing, and closeout procedures.
- Promote and uphold company core values, safety standards, and consistent application of company policies across all project activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10–15+ years of progressive project management experience in commercial construction.
- Experience in design-build projects is highly desired
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Viewpoint preferred.
- Advanced experience with P6 or similar scheduling software.
- Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, budgeting, scheduling, and estimating.
- Proven ability to lead complex projects and manage teams effectively.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and drive successful project outcomes.
Must be able to navigate active construction sites, including climbing ladders and stairs, and working in various environmental conditions. Requires the ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. Vision abilities include close vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Reasonable accommodations will be made as necessary.
Work is primarily performed on active construction sites with exposure to moving machinery, heights, weather conditions, airborne particles, and electrical risks. Noise levels range from moderate to loud, and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
SummarySalary Range: $165,000- $220,0000+
