Role DescriptionThe Project Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Anaheim, CA. This position supports project management teams through coordination of project documentation, tracking RFIs and submittals, and assisting with schedules and budgets. The Project Engineer collaborates with field supervision and subcontractors to resolve technical issues, maintain quality standards, and ensure adherence to plans and specifications. Day-to-day responsibilities include updating project logs, preparing reports, attending coordination meetings, supporting change order processes, and helping to manage communication among project stakeholders.
The role also involves applying basic engineering principles to review drawings, support electrical and other system installations, and assist in maintaining a safe and efficient jobsite.
- Candidates should possess strong Project Engineering and Electrical Engineering skills to support technical review of drawings, specifications, and system installations.
- Candidates should possess Project Management and Project Planning skills to assist with scheduling, budget tracking, coordination, and change management.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills to interact effectively with project teams, clients, subcontractors, and inspectors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
- Knowledge of commercial construction processes, building systems, and safety practices.
- Proficiency with project management and office software (e.g., MS Office, scheduling tools, and construction management platforms).
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work on-site in Anaheim, CA and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
